• The more I work on software, the more I’m realising that the hardest thing is explaining intersectionality problems to stakeholders. Individual decisions are fairly cheap, but if a decision affects OTHER decisions, suddenly your decision can become more-than-linear in cost.
  • Took the day off on Friday and went for a delicious bike ride across the city — featuring SO many bike paths, it was honestly impressive
  • I took some time on Wednesday morning to do some hard thinking about an architectural North Star for our editor; if I hadn’t booked that time in I most definitely wouldn’t have gotten around to it (a learning for future me)
  • WFH is slowly dropping into a cadence, although my mornings are tending to be slower than I’d like
